2023 AERIAL INCURSIONS
In 2023, a Chinese Spy balloon crossed into U.S. airspace and lazily traversed our skies unmolested for days, flying over multiple sensitive military installations in the process. The consensus around the balloon and its purpose - the PUBLIC, non-classified consensus, that is - was that the balloon was a simple surveillance device with no mechanism of propulsion and designed to passively collect data as the wind carried it across the country. At the time, this story captivated America - it was just such a strange, out-of-the-blue type of story that, in my opinion, I think people needed. It was a much needed reprieve from the culture war riff raff and political shitshow they've been shoving down our throats since Trump was elected, and has only intensified by the year. Ultimately, Biden made the executive decision to minimize the risk to citizens on the ground and let the balloon drift out to sea before authorizing its interception by American fighter jets—a precedent-setting action unprecedented in United States history, as no foreign object had previously been targeted and destroyed within our airspace.
For many, this is how the story ended - in a dramatic aerial spectacle complete with fighter jets, sidewinder missiles, and explosions. For us, though, this is really where the story begins, because as historic and unique as the shootdown of the Chinese Spy Balloon was (a first in NORAD's history), the same thing was about to happen again elsewhere in U.S. and Canadian skies, but this time the attitude around the incursions would be very, VERY different than the attitude around the Chinese Spy Balloon.
Just days after the Chinese Spy Balloon Incident in January of 2023, a series of mystifying aerial incursions occurred over North American airspace, and although it has been one year since the events, we still don't know much more than we did right after it all went down.
Five incidents were actually reported, with only four made public. Among them was the presence of a massive Chinese spy balloon, according to sources speaking to NewsNation. The Pentagon’s admission that a Chinese Spy Balloon was not only able to penetrate U.S. airspace but was allowed to traverse the skies of our nation before being brought down came as a surprise to many Americans. This balloon was able to lazily drift across the midwest skies unmolested, even flying over at least three important military installations, some of which carry nuclear-armed aircrafts. Finally, after a few days, the balloon drifted out to sea off the East Coast of Virginia and was shot down by U.S. fighters.
Just six days later, another intrusion occurred. On February 10, 2023, at approximately 1:45 p.m. ET, U.S. fighters shot down the first of three unidentified objects near the northern Alaskan town of Deadhorse. Shortly after the intercepts, White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby confessed to the lack of knowledge about the objects' origin or ownership. "We're labeling them as 'objects' because that's the most accurate term we have at present. Ownership, whether state, corporate, or private, remains unknown to us," Kirby stated. "Our understanding is limited at this point." Yet, the incursions persisted. The following day, on February 11, a second cylindrical object was downed over Canada's Yukon territory. Then, on the 12th, a third object met a similar fate over Lake Huron, described as octagonal in shape.
These objects remain officially unexplained. In response, authorities launched extensive air and ground searches…searches that have yielded little in the way of further information, at least for us. However, an important piece of footage exists that shed light on the moments following the shootdown of the Dead Horse, Alaska object, as an employee out working in Alaska at the time made sure to record the recovery operation as he watched the entire unfold. After a few weeks of the video gaining quite a bit of views on Youtube (the channel owner also blatantly mentioning how he’s using this video to promote his Youtube channel and his videos), the video was mysteriously removed, despite how well it was performing, and despite the fact that the guy who posted it wanted to make Youtube videos himself. The reason he provided for the removal was that he was nervous that his boss would find it and not be happy about the recording (since he was “slacking off” on video), but most people did not buy those claims.
Later, during the 2023 Congressional Hearings on UAP, David Grusch testified under oath that he saw the footage of the shootdown event over Alaska, and found “no reason that that video should be classified” (while on the topic of overclassification of UFO/UAP-related footage).
We may never know what these mysterious aerial incursions were all about, or even what the objects were that were shot down. However, what you can know is that I will be on the look-out for any additional updates to this story, and you best’ believe I’ll be sharing that information with all of you first when it comes.

Justin Trudea Twitter Post Ordering Take Down of UAP:
* 🎈 **NORTH AMERICAN SIGHTINGS**
- Following the 2023 sighting of a Chinese balloon and its subsequent shooting down off the coast of South Carolina, the U.S. heightened scrutiny of its airspace, enhancing radar capabilities to better detect slower-moving objects.
- General Glen VanHerck noted that radar adjustments made in 2023 provided better fidelity in spotting smaller objects, leading to increased detection rates.
- The U.S. shot down unidentified high-altitude objects over northern Alaska, Yukon, and Lake Huron, marking significant incidents and the first deployment of NORAD for such actions in its history.
* 🌎 **RECOVERY OPERATIONS**
- Recovery efforts for downed objects in inaccessible areas, including sea ice off Alaska and remote alpine terrain in Yukon, required extensive coordination due to the challenging locations.
- The Royal Canadian Mounted Police suspended the search for the Lake Huron object due to adverse weather conditions and low prospects of recovery.
- Despite efforts, searches for objects in Alaska, Yukon, and Lake Huron were eventually abandoned, indicating the difficulty in retrieval from such terrains.

David Grusch' statements @ 2023 Congressional Hearings on UAPs: TRANSCRIPT (mentions watching footage of the shoot downs)
David Grusch' statements: VIDEO
Mr. BIGGS. OK. Do you believe that the 2019 classification guidelines for UAPs interferes with the Federal Government’s ability to be transparent with the American people and do you think we need to be more transparent with the American people?
All of you, yes.
Mr. GRAVES. I will say yes to that.
Mr. GRUSCH. Yes, I am familiar with the UAP Task Force 2019 Security Classification guide. I think it is fair. I did actually help author that with the Director.
Mr. BIGGS. Uh-oh. You got a bias then.
Mr. GRUSCH. Yes. I will say—I will call it a lazy attitude about declassifying videos. I mean, I have seen some of the videos of, you know, the recent shoot down and I saw no reason that could not have been released as long as they mask, you know, some data. The American people deserve to see that imagery and full motion video.
Ross Coulthart states that Alaska Object was an anomalous "Silver Cylindrical UAP. Biden ordered the shootdown. Multiple assets were involved with recovery":

NORAD’s Final Report on Aerial Incursions/Shootdowns: Read Here
(Pg. 23) “Finally, the PRC high altitude balloon (HAB) incursion into our national airspace was obviously a significant event that shined a light on the PRC’s brazen intelligence collection against the United States and Canada. It was the first time USNORTHCOM conducted an
engagement over the United States in our history, and it made it clear that our competitors have the capability and intent to reach the homeland. The three Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs), also shot down days later by USNORTHCOM and NORAD, clearly demonstrated the challenges associated with detecting and identifying unmanned objects in U.S. airspace.”
